The traditional drug testing procedure involved sending urine from
collection sites to large reference laboratories for screening. Positive screening
samples were then confirmed by GC/MS, and those results were validated by the
Medical Review Office.
Reference laboratory screening is being replaced by on-site test
panels which are much faster, cheaper, and just as accurate. However, there
is an increasing appearance of adulterants attempting to defeat the antibody-antigen
reaction in the on-site test panels; or even to mask the identity of drugs in
GC/MS.
Drug Detection Devices, Ltd. is proud to offer our adulteration
strips for use in cooperation with a drug testing program. Our adulteration
test strips are a fast and convenient tool for assessing the integrity of urine
samples prior to running a drug test. An abnormal result indicates that the
urine sample has been adulterated and that subsequent drug testing would not
be suggested. Easy to read, 1 minute run time, no instrumentation required.
